About the Viking Gokstad

The Viking Gokstad is a Viking ship from the 9^th Century. Found in a burial mound at Gokstad, it can now be viewed at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo, Norway.

The largest preserved Viking Ship, it is clinker-built and constructed mainly of Oak. This ship was likely used for warfare, trade, transportation and cargo. With this kit, you can rebuild a mysterious part of the always brilliant story of the Vikings!
