The Niagara US Brig, or USS Niagara, was built from 1812 to 1813 with the specific goal to protect the vulnerable American coastline of Lake Erie from the British. When the war began, it ultimately served as the relief flagship for Oliver Hazard Perry in the Battle of Lake Erie.
As a ship with plenty of history behind it, this model kit would make a perfect addition to a model ship collection. As an expert level kit, it is sure to offer a huge challenge – much like the one faced by the ship itself!
